Jeff's martial arts odyssey commenced in 1968 with Wrestling, followed by Viet Vo Dao in 1970, marking the beginning of a lifelong dedication to pursuing excellence in martial arts.

Certified in an array of martial arts styles, including Boxe Francaise Savate, Kick Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Viet Vo Dao, Ju Jutsu, Kempo, Ken Ju Ryu, Muay Thai, Kali/JKD, and various Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) and Pencak Silat styles, Dakilang Guro Jeff's expertise spans across diverse disciplines.

In 1983, Jeff's introduction to FMA took place in Paris during the inaugural seminar by Dan Inosanto. His commitment deepened as he trained at the renowned Inosanto Academy in Los Angeles from 1985 to 1989, honing his skills under luminaries like Dan Inosanto, Cass Magda, Paul De Thouars, Herman Suwanda, Larry Hartsell, and Ted Lucaylucay.
Pioneering the teaching of Filipino Martial Arts in France in 1989, Dakilang Guro Jeff became the country's first instructor dedicated to FMA instruction. The inception of his style, Kali Sikaran, in 1992 marked a significant milestone, accompanied by the creation of the MMA (Majapahit Martial Arts) association in 1993.

Over the years, Dakilang Guro Jeff has played pivotal roles, from Vice-President of the European Kali Arnis Eskrima Federation (EKAEF) to European Technical Director of the Inayan Eskrima. His contributions extended globally, with the establishment of the IKSA (International Kali Sikaran Association) in 1995.
Jeff holds various titles and ranks, including Punong Guro, a multifaceted martial artist, bestowed upon him in 2004 by the late Suro Mike Inay. His journey continued with distinctions, such as being the Director of WEKAF France, and in 2016, he rebranded his style as Kali Silat Evolution (KSE).
In 2022, Dakilang Guro Jeff Espinous achieved the rank of 7th Dan in Kick Boxing from the International Kick Boxing Federation (IKF) and Fowler's Strike Force, further solidifying his stature in the martial arts community.
